"Stupid Dusk.... giving me all these books to study. Today! I can't finish this..." You grumbled, stumbling every now and then, and then stabling the pile of books you were balancing. You had just came back from visiting your good friend Duskshine at his library, and he had given you a years worth of reading. TILL tomorrow. Dusk could do that, but you defiantly could NOT. You were also having a hard time carrying those books, which made you very unstable and clumsy.
Suddenly, your shoe hit a rock. crap. "HIIIIYAAA!!!" You screamed as you and those books came crashing down. well, at least those books did. You, on the other hand, had something supporting your waist and hips, and you landed on something softer than dirt ground.
"Careful there, sugar cube." A man's voice rung in your ears as you looked up at the kind face of your neighbor, Applejack.
You smiled, and blushed. "Hey.... sorry for dropping in...." You laughed.
"At least you didn't hurt yourself." He smiled back, and loosened the hold on your waist, but didn't let go.
"Yeah, not sure abou---- Aaa!" You cried out in pain as your ankle throbbed, and you fell on to Applejack's chest, he tightened his grip once again.
"Sure, doesn't look like you're alright." Applejack gazed worriedly at your face, concerned.
"Ssssss...... ouch." You winced as your ankle stung.
Applejack watched, seeming to come to turns with something, and hoisted you up to carry you bridal style to his ranch.
"Wha?!" You gasped, hanging on tightly to his neck, as he chuckled, hugging you closer.
"I'll have Macareina come around to pick up those books. Let me take you to my place to have that ankle fixed up." Applejack grinned, as you blushed.
Seems like you just got a lot closer with your neighbor.
